The Extended First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit

Extended Tax Credit in Denton County

There is really not a whole lot more that needs to be said that my other article here has not covered. Other than the dates, some changes to the income limits and the addition of the move-up buyer tax credit the 2010 credit is same. There is one advantage to those closing after November 7, 2009 that they would not have had prior — that is the Modified Adjusted Gross Income1 for qualifying person(s) being raised. We Love Referrals in Denton County and all of North Texas

This is a question I get far too often, and I should have addressed here publicly long ago. I make no bones about it1 I concentrate on the buying and selling real estate in Denton County. Concentrating on Highland Village, Lewisville, Corinth, Little Elm, and all points in between within Denton County. I even work on the fringes of Grapevine and Saginaw which are in Tarrant County Texas. I believe this best allows me to provide superior service to those I represent.

How some agents waste your time and theirs with Open Houses

Keller Williams Open House Direction

Now if that headline got your attention let me say I am a fan of the open house / broker’s open when done properly. My issue is how a lot of real estate agents go about preparing for an open house. Staging a Home with Silk Flowers Adds Color

Selling a home is like that. When you sell your home, you should dress it so that it looks its best and so that buyers fall in love with it.

Monetizing the Tax Credit for a Down Payment: Clear as Mud

June 1, 2009
Government Down Payment Assistance

Ever since the May 12th announcement from HUD1 that the $8000 First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit was going to be able to be used as a down payment I believe there has been more misconceptions, ill conceived speculation, and just down-right misinformed banter from those in the real estate industry and future home buyers alike. A lot of those in the real estate industry posted information on their blogs, or in forums such as Trulia, ActiveRain and Zillow baiting those interested in

March 21, 2009
Real Estate Agent Arrested

Here is a story I caught across the news wire recently. A Fort Mills, South Carolina Real Estate Agent was caught on tape cutting up, and knocking down a competitors real estate signs. Evidently, he is the former boss of the victim according to the story. Now what really caught my attention about this was the type of signs this real estate agent was using, why is he using cardboard signs in front of houses?
