It is now easier to read this information on this site. I have just installed a new plug-in for the blog called WPtouch iPhone Theme written by Dale Mugford & Duane Storey. For those of you into running your own site as, I do, I am telling you this thing is slick! It has a great administrators page, and despite the fact they call it a theme — I would probably call it a skin. I did not need to edit or change any of my CSS files or any special integration to source files. It also supports or plays nice with all my other applications and plug-ins.
Users who visit from a desktop or laptop will not see any difference, but when you visit the site from an iPhone, Blackberry, PDA or even an iPOD touch it puts it in a very clean and crisp format. It is more like using a App rather than browsing a web page. The sidebars are removed, and the graphics that are not necessary are not present. This makes loading the information you need, such as:
- FHA Housing Limit in Denton and surrounding counties of North Dallas Texas
- $8000 First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit
- Updated Restrictions and Income Limits for USDA Rural Development Home Financing
- ..and much more
Easy to read, and fast to load when out and about looking at homes. You can also pull down on the arrow next to the title and email me directly.
Now you can put me in your pocket and take me with you!
I am also working on a less robust, but easier to use MLS Search Tool that can be used when you are mobile as well. I realize the one here by WOLFNet is not the greatest by having to zoom in and out to fill in their forms. This is also better to use while not in the Mobile Theme, which can be turned off out the bottom of every page.
I have been told and of course agree my standard “look” is pretty iPhone friendly, but I just wanted to make it as easy as possible to help Buyers and Sellers contact me and read the information on My Denton County Real Estate.
