Bartonville is a town in Denton County, Texas. With an estimated population of 1,442 as of the 2006 census, and has a total area of 6.1 square miles. Bartonville, is bordered by Double Oak, Argyle, and Copper Canyon. Bartonville is served by the Denton Independent School District with enrollment of 13,000 at its 18 schools, and the Argyle Independent School District with 797 students.
The governing body of the town prides themselves on “Being a user friendly town government that is dedicated to serving and protecting you and this wonderful community.” From a real esate point of view, Bartonville real estate is desired because of very limited commercial development, ample horse and ranch property, and large plots of land per dwelling.
